Wesley graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Laws in 2009. Wesley also holds a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours from the University of Guelph, Canada, where he majored in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, with a minor in Economics.

During his studies at the University of New South Wales, Wesley was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Best Performance in Issues in Australian Constitutional Law. He was also a participant in the UNSW Public Interest Internship Program.

Wesley joined Harmers in 2008 as a summer clerk and continued to work as a paralegal until the completion of his studies. Wesley was admitted as a solicitor in late 2010.
