Kristin Duff
Senior Associate & Brisbane Team Leader
Kristin graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2005 with a combined Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Creative Arts (with distinction).

After working with one of Fair Work Australia’s predecessors (the Office of the Employment Advocate) for a short time, Kristin joined Harmers' Brisbane team in January 2007 and is now the Brisbane Team Leader.

Kristin advises clients in all areas of employment law including:
  • negotiation of enterprise agreements and managing industrial disputes;
  • industrial relations compliance and managing Fair Work Ombudsman investigations;
  • change management/employment issues arising from corporate restructures;
  • strategies for managing ill and injured employees;
  • unfair dismissal, discrimination, OH&S, bullying & harassment;  and
  • drafting and advising on employment contracts and policies.

Kristin also regularly conducts in-house training for clients on issues such as performance management, and as part of the Brisbane team regularly conducts client luncheon seminars on industrial relations developments.

Kristin’s clients cover the spectrum and include blue chip companies, small to medium businesses, local government and senior executives.

Kristin is the secretary of the Queensland Young Lawyers Association and also is a regular volunteer lawyer at the Caxton Street Legal Centre.
