Felicity graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a combined Bachelor of Arts in Communications (Journalism) and Bachelor of Laws degree.

During her university course she completed an exchange program in Oxford, England, majoring in international law. Felicity has worked in a variety of legal and non-legal environments, including news and current affairs. Felicity has volunteered at community legal centres, servicing clients across a variety of areas, including employment law.

Felicity joined Harmers as a summer clerk in December 2007, and continued to work in the capacity of paralegal while she completed her studies and was admited as a solicitor in October 2008.
