Bruce Nettheim

Bruce has extensive industrial relations and employment law experience with both individual matters and at a collective policy level.

Bruce’s experience includes negotiating significant industrial relations legislation on behalf of employers such as the Federal Workplace Relations Act 1996, the NSW Industrial Relations Act 1996 and the NSW Workplace Video Surveillance Act 1998.

In 1996, Bruce appeared before the Senate Committee investigating the proposed changes to the Federal Workplace Relations Act. Bruce also appeared on behalf of employers in the NSW Pay Equity Inquiry and in the Qantas apprenticeship case.

Since joining the firm in 1998, Bruce has advised and advocated on behalf of employers and employees in matters across all of our areas of practice.

Bruce is presently combining his practice skills and his extensive legal publishing experience in formalising and improving our firm’s internal knowledge systems.
