Brad Buffoni
Special Counsel - Litigation and Investigations
Brad graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1997. Prior to studying law, Brad worked with the NSW Police including service as a Prosecutor and Sergeant assisting the Coroner; Director of Intelligence Officers’ Courses; member of the Commissioner’s working parties establishing the Computer Operated Policing System and Intelligence Officers Training Courses; and, Team Leader of Tactical Intelligence Units for Drug and Vice and Special Projects. Brad was awarded the Police Medal for Diligent and Ethical Service in 2008.
Whilst studying law, Brad worked as the Executive Officer for Research Contracts for the University of New South Wales followed by employment with some of Australia’s major law firms in litigation support roles during which he managed larger scale interlocutory procedures including as Manager Litigation Discovery Teams.
Brad’s practice currently focuses on our larger-scale litigation, coronial inquests and occupational health and safety utilising prosecution, analytical and investigation expertise developed through each aspect of his career as supplementary and complementary skills to his legal practice. Brad is also involved in matters of winding up companies, bankruptcy and is a member of our team providing investigations relative to improper conduct, discrimination, harassment, occupational health & safety and grievances.
