Louise Keats

Solicitor

Louise graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours), majoring in Government and International Relations. In 2006, she was awarded with the Advanced Employment Law Prize as part of her Master of Laws studies at the University of Sydney.

Louise is a member of the Editorial Committee of the Australian Journal of Labour Law and she has co-authored three books - Managing Termination of Employment (CCH, 2007), Work Choices Q&A: The Top 50 (CCH, 2007) and Finders Keepers: How to Attract and Retain Great Employees (CCH, 2008).

Prior to starting at Harmers, Louise worked for one of Australia’s largest law firms. She worked in both the Litigation and Dispute Resolution and the Banking and Finance Departments of that firm.

Louise joined Harmers in October 2005 and is involved in all areas of the firm’s practice.
